10 Important Facts About Stupidity
1. Stupidity is more common than the "common cold."
2. Stupidity recognizes no race, age, or economic distinctions. In fact, stupidity does not recognize much at all.
3. There seems to be some correlation between stupidity and how attractive one considers oneself. If, for example, you believe you resemble a "Greek God," chances are you are enormously stupid.
4. Stupidity can not be cured. It can, however, be diagnosed. Diagnosis is the first step to searching for a cure, and (even more importantly) searching for government funding.
5. Stupid people typically have a shorter life span than other people. The technical term for this is "Darwinism." Research has shown that the most common last words for stupid people are "Hey, watch this!" and "Of course I know what I'm doing."
6. Most stupid people do not believe in "Darwinism."
7. On some distance planet in the Quarzar System, an advanced civilization actually harnesses human stupidity from the planet Earth as their primary energy source. Last year, attendance at professional wrestling events supplied this planet with enough energy to power their equivalent of Las Vegas.
8. Stupid people are completely behind the "Standardized Test" movement in the United States. The standard tests that prevent people from graduating high school and obtaining even minimum wage jobs were entirely designed by stupid people.
9. Stupidity is usually not contagious. However, if you find yourself trying to explain something obvious to a stupid person and after 15 minutes you do not just give up, you are increasing your own risk factors for getting into what is technically known as "a stupid argument." If the stupid person is wearing a badge or is your employer, it's best to avoid stupid arguments and just pretend to agree with whatever stupid things he or she is saying.
10. While intelligence is limited by the capacity of the human brain to receive and process information, human stupidity has absolutely no boundaries. As far as stupidity goes, there is no lower limit.
